1. What is Web Based Mail?
Web Based Email allows you to check, view, delete, forward, and store your Nauticom email using your web browser, i.e. Internet Explorer, Netscape. Web Based email allows you to send new messages, including file attachments. Web Based Email provides personal mail storage up to 5MB and provides a personal Address Book to hold your contacts.

Web Based mail can be used as your primary e-mail system, or in combination with your mail client, i.e. MS Outlook, Outlook Express.

Web Based mail allows for 5mb of space for your mail account. This includes all messages and attachments in all folders in your Web Mail profile. If you need additional space in your Web Mail profile, large files should be downloaded to your local hard drive and removed from Nauticom mail servers. You should also periodically delete old messages from folders in Web Mail.

When using Web Mail, think of it as if you are viewing your email directly from ConnectTime mail servers. If you delete a message from Web Mail, the message is deleted from Nauticom mail servers. So, if you are using Web Mail to view messages while traveling and wish to download mail to your computer when you return, DO NOT delete messages from the Inbox in Web Mail.

2. I have a Virtual Host Account. My email address ends in my company's domain name (i.e.: info@mycompanyname.com). How do I log into Web Mail if my email address does not end in @connecttime.net?
If ConnectTime mail servers hold your company email, you have a ConnectTime email box attached to your alias@ your company domain name. This is the physical email box that is currently set up in the email client on your computer.

For Example:
info@mycompanyname.com aliases to info@connecttime.net

info is your alias @ your company domain name. info@connecttime.net is the physical email box that your alias is attached to. Therefore, any mail sent to your alias @ your company domain name automatically filters into your physical email box. Your email client OR your Web Mail profile will need the physical email box information to connect to ConnectTime mail servers.

You will use your ConnectTime email box information to log in to Web Based Mail. Even though you log in to Web Mail with ConnectTime email box information, you will receive mail sent to your alias @ your company domain name. If you do not have your ConnectTime Account Holder Information Form to retrieve your Nauticom email box information, please contact Technical Support. We would be glad to provide this information to you. Technical Support can be reached 24 hours at 724-940-4357 [HELP].
